The workshop will demonstrate how Enigmatec EMS can efficiently manage ESX server, VMware virtual machines, and the applications that reside inside the VMware virtual machines.

• Interactive workshop session wherein a practical problem relating to automation of VMware virtual infrastructure, and applications running within VMware sessions, is solved.

• Installation and configuration of EMS Platform on site.

• Systems Administrator - domain expert for infrastructure hardware, storage, and networking.
• Server Administrator - domain expert for operating system, and applications.
• Database Administrator - domain expert for databases.

Technical Prerequisites

• Client provided ESX v3.x server
  • Spare resource to host at least 5 virtual images

• vCenter 2.x
  • Network connectivity
  • VMware API installed

• Windows NT2000/XP/Vista PC for each participant that wishes to develop EMS workflows using the EMS Designer Workbench. Minimum of one PC with DVD drive for loading Enigmatec software
